Güde Briccole di Venezia – Messer mit Geschichte

The blades are hand-forged from a single piece of chrome-vanadium-molybdenum knife steel. Further processing involves over 40 manual steps. The handle scales are made from the wood of Venetian gondola poles (briccole). These poles are replaced every 100 years, and some found their way to Solingen, where they bring the incomparable flair of the lagoon metropolis into the kitchen at Güde in this special edition limited to four knives.

The blade is rust-proof, ice-hardened, and hand-sharpened – the handle is not dishwasher-safe.
