The completely rethought chef's knife "The Knife" has inspired the New Zealand chef Adam White. Adam is not only a chef, but also a jewelry artist who works with the material jade. Once called the philosopher's stone, jade is now one of the most popular gemstones.

To celebrate Güde's 111th anniversary, The Knife has now been issued in an exclusive edition of 111 pieces with a handle made of New Zealand jade. The jade used comes from the Pelorus River in Marlborough Sound.
